Our Promise

Pace e Bene is a contemplative digital sanctuary devoted to the life and teachings of Saint Francis of Assisi. We collect only what serves that purpose, and we treat every pilgrim's data as we would our own — with simplicity, respect, and restraint.

The Prayer Journal

Your personal prayer intentions are stored only when you choose to save them, and they are visible solely to you and the app's administrators. We never share, sell, or publish private intentions. Deleting an intention removes it immediately; deleting your account erases every intention you have recorded.

Community Reflections

Stories submitted to the Community Reflections wall are public by design. They may display your chosen author name and location alongside your story once approved. Please share only what you wish the whole community to see.

Anonymous Analytics

We record aggregate, non-identifying counts — overall visits to the sanctuary and which sections of the page drew the most contemplation. This helps us understand what nourishes our visitors. No personally identifying information is attached to these counts.

Donations & Third Parties

The “Give Alms” path leads to PayPal, a third party with its own privacy practices that govern any donation. We do not receive or store your payment details. Optional sign-in uses Google authentication, which shares only the email and name needed to identify your account.

Your Rights & Account Deletion

You may sign out at any time from the Settings menu. To permanently remove your account and all associated data, open the Settings menu and choose “Delete my account.” This cannot be undone and erases your prayer journal immediately.

Contact

Questions about this policy are welcome. Reach the creators of Pace e Bene through the contact details published with the app, and we will respond with all good — pace e bene.
